Reconstruction of Southbound Kenilworth Avenue, NE

Summary
  1. providing a construction schedule for the project and adjusting keep the schedule updated. b. Implementation and monitoring of vehicular traffic and its maintenance for the construction period as shown on the Contract documents. c. Mobilization and demobilization, provision and maintenance of work and storage areas, Engineer’s Field Facilities, and performance of Employee Training. d. Implementation of sediment and erosion control measures as shown on the Contract plans. e. Removal and disposal of existing pavement surface and concrete base, curb, gutter, and sidewalk, and any other hard surface for repair-replace. f. Snow and Ice Removal Services (National Highway System)

Summary

The District of Columbia Government, Department of Public Works requires the services of a Contractor to perform snow and ice removal to ensure that the roadways are passable as specified herein. The source of the roadway coverage is the National Highway System (NHS) within the District of Columbia as shown in Attachment J.10. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, personnel, equipment, materials, tools, supplies and all incidentals required to remove ice and snow from District streets designated under the National Highway System. The District will provide de-icing sodium chloride rock salt and brine for pre treating.
